Chapter One: We're up!
Dear supporters,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our new site! Feel free to browse around and make yourself at home. I am equally excited about welcoming you to my new blog! As I am sure you are aware, a lot of hard work goes in making a film, and I would like to chronicle my journeys as a writer/director!
Right now, I am in the production of a short film entitled Writer's Redemption. We are currently looking at a shooting date around June/July, but we have a lot of work to do before then. We are still in the process of acquiring cast and locations for the film. However, the good news is that we have obtained the majority of equipment needed! I just bought a very cheap but powerful light to use on set and am planning to use two borrowed cameras for the production. I am very excited and so is everyone else associated with the production!
Scarlett Rose is our Public Relations Director and my personal assistant. Alex Hatton is helping me out with audio and still photography, and Scott Hatton & Chad Nabors have agreed to collaborate in writing the score.
The challenge in producing this movie is our incredibly limited budget. I'm a very goal-oriented person when it comes to what I want to achieve, and it is my goal to create an incredible film for practically no money at all. If I can do this, there are few things that I cannot do!
